Telehealth is here to stay, allowing clients to manage their time better by providing services from home or work, as well as allowing easier access to those who have difficulty attending "in person" sessions (e.g., rural populations and those with chronic and acute health issues/disabilities). To improve access to services for her Health Psychology clients, in December 2019, Dr. Lori began training through the Telebehavioral Health Institute (now Telehealth.org) to learn to provide effective telehealth services. Early in training, she began conducting Telehealth sessions in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic's "Shelter-in-Place" Executive Order signed by Illinois Governor Pritzker in March 2020. To date she has completed 11 courses (39 hours) on Telehealth, along with keeping up-to-date via the PSYPACT Round Tables and quarterly Telehealth Community Chats sponsored by The Trust (an insurance, financial security, and risk management company for Psychologists).

In 2011, the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the Trust began working on a long-term solution for legal and ethical Telemental Health services across state lines. The Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) was born out of that Task Force and legislation has been introduced, passed, and enacted in numerous state legislatures. PSYPACT went "live" on July 1, 2020. Dr. Lori applied and, on July 30, 2020, ASPPB determined that she had met all requirements and was granted the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) with her "E. Passport". This allows her to practice Telemental Health from her home state of Illinois to clients residing in and traveling to any participating PSYPACT state. The Illinois Psychological Association announced that Dr. Lori was one of the first known Illinois Licensed Psychologists to receive her Mobility Credentials, making her a Pioneer in this area of growth. Click the button for the most recent information about states that have enacted or have current pending PSYPACT legislation. In May 2025, Dr. Lori became a Member of the newly created Illinois Psychological Association's PSYPACT Committee.

***NOTE: Therapy is available only in PSYPACT states. Coaching is open throughout US/Canada.
